MK5's sound can be described as "Pure-Pop-Rock" - similar to that of the Gin Blossoms. The members of MK5 are Ken Carman, Mark Santomauro & Don Cook. Ken is a former member of the pop rock group, "the Mondays". At Joe Napoli's recommendation Ingvey Malmstien's drummer, John Macaluso and Nine Days bassist, Nick Dimichino, were brought in to record the drum and bass parts. Jack Napoli also lent his talents by recording the guitar tracks to all the songs on the CD. To round things off John Hampson, from Nine Days, was asked to produced all of the vocal tracks. The result was pure pop rock to the max!
