One of the nicest features of the adat
recording system is it's popularity. With
so many people owning them it makes recording your project, in
various studios, quite simple.
Utilizing different studios can make
the recording process a lot of fun and can save you some money.
It also allows you to take advantage of the various signal processing
gear, larger studios have to offer. This can really add to the
quality of your recording. For example, you may have a great set
up for bass guitar but another studio may have a great vocal mic
and compressor. Or maybe the drum room at XYZ studio makes the
kick and snare sound like a cannon while the amp selection at
CBA studio gives you that vintage sound, you love. It is for these
reasons that top record producers take advantage of recording
in multiple studios, all the time.
This is also true when it comes to
mixing. A good producer is very selective about how their music
is mixed. That's because mixing can be, and often is, a critical
step in the recording process. A great performance can be destroyed
if the mix is not done properly.
If you're happy with the way you're
mixes sound, that's great! But if your mixes still don't sound
like that of your favorite artists, maybe we can help.
